IHF PROGRAMS
GRANTS & SCHOLARSHIPS
The International Horsemanship Foundation offers four scholarship and grant programs that further our mission of Relationship-Based Horsemanship education, community, and communication.
IHF GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS
The IHF grants and scholarships are the primary way we give back to the community. These programs have allowed us to provide financial support to a wide network of individuals and organizations that further the mission of ethical, meaningful horsemanship.
The International Horsemanship Foundation offers two scholarships and two grants. Our Future of Horsemanship (FoH) scholarship provides youth aged fourteen to twenty-four with access to Relationship-Based Horsemanship education. The Career Scholarship provides aspiring professionals aged eighteen and up with access to more rigorous professional training. Both of these scholarships are intended primarily for individual education. Our two grants, the Horse Welfare Grant and Therapeutic Horsemanship Grant, are intended to provide funds primarily to organizations that foster education, community, and enriching the lives of both humans and horses.
In keeping with our mission, enriching the lives of humans and horses through Relationship-Based Horsemanship education, communication, and community, scholarship and grant recipients are selected for both their dedication to Relationship-Based Horsemanship and financial need.
