Board President

Farrah loves helping humans and horses to have fun and understand each other to the best of their abilities. Her most influential professor is her horse Caesar, who continues to patiently struggle with her training for the betterment of horses everywhere. She also loves a good nap and great tea!

Board Vice President

Robin is a retired International airline pilot for United Airlines. She is also a New Thought minister and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Practitioner and Coach. She has practiced natural horsemanship since 1998, when she attended a  performance where Linda and Pat Parelli teamed up with Olympians David and Karen O’Connor. She has been “hooked” ever since. Robin resonates with the natural aspects of life, such as practical spirituality without dogma, natural horsemanship. and being authentic while inviting all in her presence to do the same.

Andrew and his wife René are both long time students of Parelli Natural Horsemanship and live in the East San Francisco Bay Area’s unincorporated rural area of Sunol, CA along with their family and their four talented horses. Andrew is pleased to bring his business acumen and passion for Natural Horsemanship to the International Horsemanship Foundation.  Andrew is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area, where he is a Management Consultant, Journalist, and Equine Advocate.

Jill Holmes, DVM

Treasurer

Jill is a retired veterinarian who grew up in the southeastern US in the cattle business and learned to check cattle health on horseback. She is a decades-long student of Relationship-Based Horsemanship and is excited to assist in promoting the mission of the International Horsemanship Foundation. Her passion is to help equine enthusiasts everywhere gain access to excellent horsemanship education.

Lisa Trueblood is an accomplished financial executive who balanced her career over the past 20 years with raising her family, investing her time and talents in her community, and dedicating herself as a student of the horse.  Lisa is a certified public accountant and started her career in public accounting at the firm of KPMG Peat Marwick.  She has since led financial teams in the real estate and hospitality industries as chief financial officer, controller, treasurer, and director of financial planning.  Lisa currently lives in Bradenton, FL, with her husband, two children (when home from college), three horses, and three dogs.

Saralee Garber

Secretary

Saralee is a third-generation native of the Sheridan, Wyoming area.  She lives west of Big Horn, at the foot of the Bighorn Mountains on the Garber ranch with her husband of over 40 yrs., her cats, and her horses.  She has owned horses for 59 yrs. now, and is a continual student of the horse.  She has done many things with her horses through the years, from O-Mok-See to ranch work, Parelli Natural Horsemanship to Cowboy Dressage, but the most rewarding thing has been finding how to build a happy relationship with them.  Saralee is a retired Elementary Music Specialist who still sings with a choir during winter.  She and her husband are fortunate to have their only son and his wife living close enough that they can come for a visit each week.

Board Member

Ann became a Parelli Professional in 2003 and continued through the Professionals Program, obtaining her 3-Star certification. After years of teaching lessons, workshops, and clinics throughout the Pacific Northwest, she worked for Parelli Natural Horsemanship as Campus Manager and other roles.  Ann worked as an employee of the Parelli Foundation until December 2017, when she pursued a new career path as a FileMaker software developer.  Ann is excited to stay connected with her Parelli community through her role on the International Horsemanship Foundation Board.  Ann lives in Lebanon, Oregon, with her husband, Jim, and their 5 horses, 4 dogs, 2 cats, and 16 chickens.

Lisa has been pursuing horsemanship with her American Mustang, Gus, amongst her busy life of raising kids. Her other adventures include yoga and multiple moves across the country.

Board Member

Ada is a horse trainer, but she has also trained pet rats, feral cats, and her younger brother. She loves fiber arts and doesn’t like it when it rains.

Dr. Sean Hollonbeck

Board Member

Due to a traumatic event resulting in a spinal cord injury to his twin before the start of high school, COL Hollonbeck set his path to become a physician and serve his country. He completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, majoring in Biology. He was accepted early entrance to Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and proceeded to Fort Benning, GA, where he completed his Residency in Family Medicine at Martin Army Hospital in 2000. Following an illustrious career as a doctor in the military, he is now a proud veteran, dad, and growing horseman. He is also an avid outdoors-man, sportsman, voracious reader, and lover of animals and nature.

Board Member

Ashley is a lifelong horse lover, and has been sharing Relationship-Based Horsemanship with students for the last 15 years. She loves enjoying the California sun with her two horses, Zephyr and Chase. When she isn’t out playing with them, you can find her curled up with a good book and her cat, Dozer.
